How to CHANGE your Telkom SIM's tariff to SmartBroadband Wireless
Note: Telkom's "LTE Prepaid" tariff used to be called "SmartBroadband Wireless". It's the same tariff, but with a different name.
Telkom can take up to 24 hours to process your tariff change. Don't worry, changing tariff will not change your mobile number. Also, your SIM will remain active while the tariff is changing.
Change your SIM's tariff:
Dial: *180# (click link and press dial)
Select: # for more options
Select: Tariff change
Select: Change current tariff
Select: LTE Prepaid
Select: Confirm
Easy, right?
You will need to have Telkom LTE coverage and an LTE-compatible device.
Most prepaid Telkom SIM cards come on the "Telkom More" tariff, so you need to switch your SIM's tariff to "LTE Prepaid" before you can get unbeatable value LTE data deals!
